Western Michigan University president to retire next summer
Western Michigan University President Edward Montgomery plans to retire next year, ending an eight-year run in Kalamazoo and a 40-year career in higher education. Montgomery announced his retirement today in a letter emailed to the “campus community.” He wrote that he turns 70 years old next year.
