A massive explosion at a food dye factory in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday left two people dead and a dozen others injured, as smoke billowed out of torn metal structures and rubble.

At least 11 people have been taken to hospital following an explosion at a chemical manufacturing plant in Louisville, Kentucky. Residents across the city reported hearing a large boom, with lights flickering and buildings shaking from the impact of the blast on Tuesday afternoon at around 3 p.m. local time.
