The Wall Street Journal took what appeared to be yet another swipe at Donald Trump on Thursday. The conservative newspaper’s editorial board asked a question of the president following his call on his Truth Social platform for lower interest rates ― which he claimed “would go hand in hand” with the currently-paused tariffs he is slapping on imports — but which he made amid an ongoing increase in inflation.
