Despite the below-average season at the plate, Bregman owns a career .375 average and 1.240 OPS in 98 plate appearances at Fenway and figures to use the Green Monster in left to his advantage.

It appears Red Sox owner John Henry is celebrating the Alex Bregman signing by lighting a cigar. Boston agreed to a three-year, $120 million contract with Bregman on Wednesday night. The deal includes player opt outs after the first and second seasons.
