The Atlanta Braves have called up Alex Verdugo from Triple-A in a desperate attempt to spark their struggling offense, but New York Yankees fans know all too well how that will work out.

Four weeks after he was signed as a free agent, the Atlanta Braves added outfielder Alex Verdugo to the active roster Thursday.

In March, the Atlanta Braves signed Alex Verdugo to a one-year, $1.5 million contract. Since he missed spring training, he was optioned to Triple-A so that he could get in shape.
