Cat owners should monitor their pets for symptoms including fever, lethargy, low appetite, eye inflammation, breathing difficulties, and tremors or seizures.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is alerting pet owners that more cat food is being recalled because it could be contaminated with bird flu, also known as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1.

Pet owners are urged to return the recalled items and contact their veterinarian if their cat is exhibiting symptoms of the bird flu.
