Geno Smith has had quite the year for the Seattle Seahawks. He’s third in the league in passing yards per game, trailing only Joe Burrow and Jared Goff, and is one of just four starters in the NFL completing more than 70% of their passes,

At Spotrac, the cotract-expert site, NFL guru Mike Ginnitti pegs Smith as a "roster bubble" player for 2025, meaning he could easily be cut, especially if the team's season keeps going south. There was a chance Smith could have played himself into an extension, but that chance seems to have faded.
