Charlotte Hornets star guard LaMelo Ball is injured once again, with right ankle soreness forcing him to miss the final three quarters of a 97-89 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday in New York. Ball missed five games bridging January and February due to a sprained left ankle before playing 36 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Nic Claxton scored 16 points and the Brooklyn Nets pulled away after LaMelo Ball was lost to another ankle injury and beat the Charlotte Hornets 97-89 on Monday night. Cam Johnson and Day'Ron Sharpe each added 14 points for the Nets,

LaMelo Ball has already missed 18 games this 2024-25 season due to various injuries. Most recently, he was out for five straight contests due to an ankle sprain. Unfortunately for the Charlotte Hornets guard, he's back on the sidelines once again due to another health setback.
