Significant severe weather and life-threatening flash flooding continue to impact much of the mid-South up through the Ohio River Valley.

With the rain expected to keep falling this weekend, communities across greater Cincinnati are already seeing the impacts.

Another round of torrential rain and flash flooding was coming for parts of the South and Midwest already heavily waterlogged by days of relentless severe storms that in some cases spawned deadly torn

The National Weather Service said 45 river locations in multiple states were expected to reach major flood stage, with extensive flooding of structures, and roads.
