“This is, in a lot of ways, is 20 years in the making, and just a culmination of a lot of things going right and a lot of people believing in us,” Nick tells Billboard about the event right before their first performance of the day at Jonas Beach, which took place at the mall’s DreamWorks Water Park.

The Jonas Brothers first formed in 2005, releasing their debut album with Hollywood Records, “It’s About Time” in 2006. In its early years, the band toured with Jesse McCartney, the Backstreet Boys, and Kelly Clarkson. The trio also starred in “Camp Rock” (2008) and “Camp Rock 2″ (2010), establishing them as familiar faces on the Disney Channel.

The Jonas Brothers have announced their 20th-anniversary tour, a 43-date tour, including a stop at Fenway Park in Boston, MA.
