It's official, Denver is getting it's next major park. CBS News Colorado reported this would come to fruition ahead of the now official announcement on Wednesday. Over the past 7 years, the defunct Park Hill Golf Course has inspired turf wars between open space advocates and developers.

Scott O’Neil was formally introduced Wednesday as the new CEO of Saudi-funded LIV Golf, which enters its fourth season next month while its financial backer is negotiating an investment deal with the rival PGA Tour.

Rory McIlroy says LIV Golf's decision to replace Greg Norman as CEO makes it seem the league isn't going to go away anytime soon.
