It seems to happen every time I ride this quintessential Central Oregon loop. Just when I think the climbing is over after arriving at Happy Valley, it only becomes increasingly steeper and imposing.

Outdoor recreationists should expect to brave some cool, wet days this weekend. Highs are in the 50s with overcast skies and some chances of rain. Sunny days should be back by the middle of next week.
