WLKY made an appointment with The Hat Doctor leading up to Kentucky Derby 150. This year, she's "operating" on more than 1,000 hats and fascinators.

Huge hats at the Kentucky Derby are a must for women, and now, even some men are wearing the staple piece. The hats are typically adorned with flowers and bows.

For 2024, Hat Haven has created a special collection of hats and fascinators for the 150th running of the Derby. Each headpiece features jockey silk remnants from Becker & Durski Turf Goods.
