As conflict continues to escalate between the two nations, Delta Air Lines has made the decision to stop all flights from New York-JFK to Tel Aviv until at least August 31. "Delta has paused flights to Tel Aviv (TLV) from New York-JFK through August 31 in response to the current conflict in the region," Delta wrote in a statement on Friday.
Israel's attack on Iran scrambled air travel, with United and Delta flights to Tel Aviv turning around midway and other airlines canceling flights.
United Airlines also suspended its Tel Aviv service but did not specify when flights between its Newark Liberty International Airport hub in New Jersey and Israel might resume.
