Columbus Division of Fire crews were still fighting the blaze as of 10 p.m. Friday. The Ohio State Fire Marshal said it has not been asked to assist in the investigation as of early Friday but also noted that it often isn't asked to assist until after the fire is contained.

The Columbus Division of Fire is fighting a massive blaze that broke out early Friday morning on the southeast side of the city. According to Fire Chief Jeffrey Geitter, crews were called shortly after midnight to a scrapyard in the 2100 block of Alum Creek Drive,
