On Thursday the Paris-based hotel giant announced plans for Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza, a new luxury hotel in development in Egypt in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Investment Company.

Travelers can step outside the hotel and stroll along the Nile or take a short car ride to major sites like the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, the pyramids of Giza and the city's Coptic Quarter.
