The National Weather Service continued to monitor the chances for snow for Alabama next Tuesday and Wednesday. Forecasters were confident about the probability of dangerously cold temperatures across the state next week. Well, we're monitoring another storm chance for Sunday night into Monday in Massachusetts. While this winter has certainly felt a lot different than the last few, it looks much the same with just a smattering of snow here and there.

On Sunday, there’s a chance of snow, but current forecasts indicate it could be light, the weather service said. “Even if it develops, the system will be rather weak and progressive, so snowfall totals and resulting impacts appear minor,” the weather service said in its Thursday morning forecast discussion.
