One tornado swirled through fields near El Campo, Texas, on Thursday, about midway between Houston and Victoria. Another twister touched down near Atascocita in Harris County, then moved over Lake Houston.

A stormy day in Texas escalated quickly on Thursday afternoon with the formation of quick-moving tornados in and near Southeast Texas. Observers near El Campo, Texas captured video of one tornado touching down outside of town on Thursday.
