The Masked Singer's Joel Dommett didn't exactly start on the right foot with new judge Maya Jama after he made their first encounter slightly awkward.

The presenter halted the panelist's conversation to reveal that something had happened for the first time in six years whilst on stage.

Fans of The Masked Singer flooded the show with complaints as host Joel Dommett announced there would be no unmasking at the end of the first show. Six celebrities out of the 12 have already performed, and Spag Bol and Teeth were announced as being in the bottom two.
