Case in point the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, which wound up being called Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE (Special Edition), only released in South Korea and China when it arrived last year. The S25 Slim appears to be having a slightly wider release, but again not quite as wide as Samsung’s flagship devices.

Samsung is rumoured to launch a new variant in its Galaxy S25 series — likely the Galaxy S25 Slim. However, according to a new report, this variant will only be available in selected countries, excluding the U.

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has dimensions of 159 x 76 x 6.4mm (rising to 8.3mm if you include the camera bump). For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus (which this is expected to have a similar size screen to) is 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7mm.

This is interesting because it directly contradicts previous intel. Last month, the leaker Erencan Yılmaz revealed a Galaxy S25 Slim model number — SM-S937B/DS — which he claimed indicated a worldwide release (the ‘B’ in the code referring to it being sold in all regions that Samsung operates in).

Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition before it, Samsung's next "Slim" flagship could run the risk of not being released in all major markets.
