The Washington Commanders announced an official return to D.C. and a render of the RFK Stadium shows an incredible view of the US Capitol and a glass roof.

Washington’s NFL franchise is set to return to the nation’s capital with a new stadium set to open by 2030. The project must be approved by D.C. City Council.

ESPN's John Keim first reported on Sunday that the Commanders agreed to a deal with the District of Columbia to build a new stadium where RFK Stadium still stands. The franchise played at RFK Stadium from 1961 to 1996 and won all three of its Super Bowls during that span.
