Friday's in-state rivalry game between Indiana and Purdue delivered plenty of drama. Inside a raucous Mackey Arena, the Boilermakers made a few more key plays down the stretch to defeat the Hoosiers 81-76.

Purdue is averaging 36.2 points per game prior to halftime, while Indiana’s first-half defense is one of the worst in the nation, with opponents averaging 36.5 points. The Boilermakers have scored at least 41 first-half points in all four home games in conference play and will again here.

Friday night will mark Caleb Furst's final home game against Indiana as a Purdue player. He opened up about the rivalry and how he "finds joy" every day with the Boilermakers.
