Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin put on a show in the regular-season finale, showcasing their greatness in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals.

Washington's Alex Ovechkin scored his 897th NHL goal, but the visiting Capitals dropped their season finale 5-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.

The Capital added in second post, "Ovechkin’s 43 goals in 80 career games vs. the Penguins are the most among active players and the sixth most all-time. Twenty-six of his 43 goals (60.5%) against Pittsburgh have come on the road."
