Jack Hughes had his second two-goal game of the season against the New York Rangers and Jacob Markstrom had his second straight 12-save shutout to lead the New Jersey Devils to a 5-0 victory.

On Monday, the New Jersey Devils trolled the New York Rangers during their 5-0 thrashing of their rivals. The video posted included the draft of Jack Hughes, mocking the departure of Kaapo Kakko.

Jack Hughes laughed when he was asked about the moment the Devils trolled Rangers' fans about not selecting him in the 2019 NHL Draft.

Jacob Markstrom made 12 saves for his second straight shutout and third of the season to extend his point streak to nine games (8-0-1). It was the Devils' first regular-season shutout against the Rangers since Cory Schneider made 22 saves in a 4-0 victory Oct. 19, 2013.

The New York Rangers have been falling apart in recent times, and now the Devils are taking advantage of it and trolling their division rival while dominating them in the final game before the holiday break.
