Victim identified in 'massive shootout' in Birmingham's Kingston neighborhood
New developments in a deadly shooting in Birmingham’s Kingston community. Birmingham Police revealed the identity of the man killed in what police are calling a massive shootout. Demarious Cherry was shot and killed Wednesday night around 9:45 on Roscoe Avenue and no one has been arrested yet.

Demarious Antwon Cherry, 22, of Birmingham, was killed in what police believe was a shootout in the Kingston community. In addition to officers hearing numerous rounds of gunfire at around 9:40 p.m., ShotSpotter alerted them to shots fired in the 4600 block of Roscoe Avenue.
