Matthew Allen, Kevin O’Leary and Paul Warshaw won the card through Heritage Auctions early Sunday morning with bidding that pushed past the previous most expensive card ever sold — the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 graded a “Mint-Plus” SGC 9.5 and dubbed the “finest known example” of that iconic card — by more than $300,000.

A one-of-one card featuring Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, their signatures and pieces of their game-worn jerseys broke the sales price record for sports cards early Sunday morning.
