The Giants are loaded at pass rusher. Veteran duo Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns are among the better pass-rushing duos in the league. The Giants also drafted Abdul Carter at No. 3 overall in the 2025 NFL draft. The reports coming out of practice insinuated that Fashanu was routinely shutting Thibodeaux down in drills.

The New York Giants and New York Jets wrapped up joint practices in East Rutherford on Wednesday as tempers flared and fights broke out.

In the situational period at the end of practice, the Giants defense held the Jets starters from scoring. The Jets advanced to the 50-yard line and had fourth-and-2 with two seconds remaining when practice was ended since the teams didn’t want to risk injury with a Hail Mary attempt.
