ROCHESTER. N.Y. Another cold and cloudy day is in store for the Rochester area today. Temperatures this morning are in the high 20s, and will max out in the low 30s. Cold temperatures mean there may be slick spots on roads or sidewalks, so watch your step on your way out the door this morning. Black ice can look just like water on pavement.
First Alert Weather Day Sunday as rain chances ramp up through the weekend
Saturday’s rain chances ramp up a little more, especially in the early morning hours. A round of some heavy rain moves through before sunrise. However, most of the daylight hours see just scattered on and off showers with an occasional rumble of thunder late in the day. Temperatures rebound for the day with highs back to the mid to upper 50s.
