A boy was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after nearly drowning in a Dania Beach pool, marking the fourth such incident in Broward County in just over a week, authorities said.

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A child is recovering after being pulled from a swimming pool in Broward County. It happened on Wednesday at approximately 5:12 p.m. along the 4900 block of Southwest 29th Way in Dania Beach. According to authorities, deputies and rescue crews responded after receiving calls of a toddler found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
