Two of the Western Conference's top teams meet in a nationally televised game at the American Airlines Center on Friday night.

The Dallas Stars (29-17-1, 3rd in the Central Division) are coming off a tough loss against the Carolina Hurricanes and looking to bounce back as they host the Vegas Golden Knights (30-14-1, 1st in the Pacific Division) in a nationally-televised matchup between two of the Western Conference’s best teams.

The Carolina Hurricanes will play the second half of a road back-to-back tonight as they take on the Dallas Stars (29-16-1). The Canes mounted a comeback effort last night to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime in Frederik Andersen's first game back since October.

The Stars will look to win their second straight game on home ice and continue their climb up the Central Division standings.
