Brentford have issued a touching farewell to Thomas Frank after he was confirmed as Tottenham head coach on Thursday night. The Dane has signed a three-year deal with Spurs and has big shoes to fill after Ange Postecoglou won the Europa League, delivering the club’s first title since 2008.

Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Thomas Frank as their new head coach on a deal running until 2028. Spurs will reportedly pay Brentford a compensation fee of £10m for the 51-year-old Dane, who replaces Ange Postecoglou at the club.

With Thomas Frank set to leave to takeover at Tottenham, Brentford are left with looking for a replacement ahead of an important summer. The Bees finished a very promising tenth place this season
