Brazil, the world's largest chicken exporter, is currently investigating six potential outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza, known as bird flu, according to updated data on the Agriculture Ministry's website.

Brazil, one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of poultry, has confirmed the country’s first bird flu outbreak on a commercial farm.

Singapore also has bird flu regionalisation arrangements with Brazil, where imports from affected areas may be suspended while those from unaffected areas can still be brought in.
