Apple will reportedly bring blood pressure detection support to the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3, which makes them must-have upgrades.

Reportedly, all three new models will launch in the second half of 2025 — likely during Apple's annual iPhone launch event, which typically takes place in September. The cheapest out of the three, Apple Watch SE, will have a "new look," while the Series 11 and Ultra 3 models will "probably stay roughly the same," said the report.

Most notably, the Ultra 3 watch is expected to include satellite connectivity and 5G RedCap (reduced capability) network access. This is a streamlined version of 5G that requires fewer components and improves power efficiency. The feature is expected to be exclusive to the third-generation Ultra Watch. The Ultra line was not updated in 2024.
