President Trump has tapped Dan Bongino, a hard-charging Trump supporter and one of America’s most popular and prolific conservative commentators, to serve as deputy director of the FBI.
FBI Deputy Director Bongino reports achievements in first three months, including child predator operations rescuing 224 children and arrests of most wanted fugitives.
Bongino will join Kash Patel, who was confirmed by the Senate last week as the new director of the FBI. Trump said Patel would appoint Bongino to the role, which does not require Senate confirmation.
