Agnes Keleti, Holocaust survivor and Olympic gymnast, dies at 103
Agnes Keleti, a Holocaust survivor and the oldest living Olympic medal winner, has died at 103. Keleti won a total of 10 Olympic medals for Hungary in gymnastics, overcoming the loss of her father and several relatives in the Holocaust to become one of the most successful Jewish Olympic athletes.

But four years later she won her first Olympic gold medal, in the floor exercise, at the 1952 Helsinki Games. Keleti was 31, competing against athletes 10 years younger. She also won a silver medal and two bronze medals in other events, including uneven bars.

Agnes Keleti, the world's oldest Olympic champion and Holocaust survivor, has died at the age of 103. She passed away on Thursday at Budapest hospital, her press official Tamas Roth told AFP, confirming a report from local sports daily Nemzeti Sport. She was hospitalised with pneumonia last week.
