We did not actually stay in Karkal, we stayed at Mangalore and drove down to Karkal and finished our sight-seeing all around. I felt it was better that way.
The last couple times I tried visiting this holy shrine, it was closed and I couldn't find any information on timings. Could somebody please tell me what the timings are of this shrine?

Opening time I am not sure but it closes at 5.30 PM sharp.No body will be allowed after 5.30PM.

I did not visit during that season, however i found that roads were good. Slightly cramped in a couple of places, but otherwise good. The chaturmuka Basadi is very easy to approach …
I did not visit during that season, however i found that roads were good. Slightly cramped in a couple of places, but otherwise good. The chaturmuka Basadi is very easy to approach and locate. if it were to rain while visiting, i do not think it would be a problem.
