Magnificent park with many interesting statues and buildings. The treat was the wildlife with red squirrels scurrying about the place and peacocks.Full review by Considered R

Does the park close, if so what time?

The park itself closes at 10pm during summer, however some of gardens and the castle will be closed sooner

Is is possible to use rented bikes to cycle around the park or is it pedestrians only? thanks

Yes you can use rented bikes but they are allowed on the second part of the park. In the main park, bicycles are not allowed.

No they seemed to everywhere where there was grass and trees. They were also quite tame
