I've visited the Conservatory for well over 50 years. I can do it in twenty minutes. However, if you want to stop and smell the Roses, so to speak, take your time. Between one and two hours is more than sufficient. You can bring "brown bag" lunch if you like. There is some seating always available. There is the inside of the building but also the Monet garden outside on the east side of the building and another , larger outside garden on the west side of the building. There is the labyrinth to the south end of the building, great for children. The GPC is much larger than the Lincoln Park Conservatory and more to view, bring your camera. Enjoy !
