WEBFeb 8, 2022 · Usb C! Cons of 11th gen. Comparing side by side, I find the 7th gen slightly better in contrast, probably due to the screen sunken in instead of a raised surface. But you won’t notice it once you’ve read it for a bit. Overall, I’m enjoying the upgraded speed, lighting and screen size that I can forego the cons.

I bought the leather case because it was the only case available on the day I bought the Kindle, which was intro day. It has hard edges that don't feel good and the surface feels fake even though they say real leather.

I bought the Kid's 11th gen (same hardware) and it came ad-free ($20 normally) with a case and a 2-year replacement warranty (!) for $114.99 (near Thanksgiving) and I've seen it for $119.99 for a few times since then.

Stuck with it as I'm not really one to chase the shiniest new gadget, and I didn't see anything wrong with the 10 th gen. I use my Kindle approx. ~2 hrs per day for learning foreign languages.
