I have now done a prototype that I think is an improvement, but want to test with real users to see if I'm right in my assumptions.

WEBFeb 20, 2023 · I think the main dev chose to do a UI that is the same across Linux, Windows, and Mac to make it simpler to keep updated. Also, I have heard of people using calibre-server and calibre-web for simple management for their household to access books from a calibre database.
